How do I know if tickets are available?
Generally, there are tickets available at the door for most shows – if a show is sold out, our website will be marked accordingly. Once a show is sold out, there are no tickets available.
Where did the name “The Crofoot” come from?
The building that houses the Crofoot Ballroom was built in 1830 and stands as the oldest commercial building in Oakland County. In 1880, the building was renovated by an Oakland county Judge named Michael E. Crofoot. We kept the historic name.

Are there seats at the Crofoot?
We are a general admission venue without traditional theater seating. Most of the audience stands for shows. On occasion, limited seating is available for select events, and is first come, first serve. If you have a special seating request, please contact hello@thecrofoot.com and we will arrange seating.
What time does the show actually start?
Generally, opening bands will play 30-45 minute sets beginning one hour after doors open (i.e. if doors open at 8:00 pm, the first at band will likely go on at 9:00 pm). However, all shows are subject to different schedules.
If I purchased “will call” tickets on ticketweb.com, when and where do I pick up my tickets?
Will call customers are listed on our will call lists at the appropriate venue entrance and are available when doors open the day of the show. WILL CALL TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE BEFORE DOORS OPEN FOR THE EVENT. To pick up your tickets, simply have the ID with the name of the tickets purchased on hand. Our staff will take it from there!
I have never been to the Crofoot What’s parking like?
Across the street from the Crofoot is a huge privately owned parking lot. Their price for parking ranges from $5-$20. Metered parking is available on the street for $1 an hour. There is also parking available in several parking structures throughout the neighborhood. More on parking can be found at https://thecrofoot.com/parking.
Which door do I use?
Crofoot Ballroom/The Pike Room: watch for signs – the Crofoot has five different entry points, each for a different room. Traditionally, the entrance for shows in the Crofoot Ballroom is located East of Saginaw on PIKE STREET (the doors are painted red!) and the entrance for shows scheduled in the Pike Room is located on Saginaw Street south of Pike (which will be marked with a sign).
Crofoot Festival Grounds: the front gate is located at the southeast corner of Pike St at Saginaw St, directly across from The Crofoot Ballroom. It is essentially half the surface parking lot fenced in. It’s hard to miss.
How old do you have to be to get into the Crofoot?
99% of our shows are all ages, meaning anyone can attend. However, you must be 21 to drink alcohol. A handful of shows during the year are 18+ or 21+, and those shows will be clearly marked on our calendar.
Can accompanied minors attend age-restricted shows?
Yes, if accompanied by a legal guardian or parent.
Can I get food at the Crofoot?
We serve fresh made sandwiches! Oak House Deli at The Crofoot is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm, and during select concert at The Crofoot. There are also other food options throughout downtown Pontiac within walking distance from The Crofoot.

The Crofoot is located on the South East corner of Pike and Saginaw Streets in the heart of downtown Pontiac. What is the difference between The Crofoot Ballroom, The Pike Room, The Vernors Room, and The Crofoot Cafe?
The Crofoot is a multi-room entertainment complex. This versatile space can be configured to accommodate a gathering ranging from 2,000 guests all the way down to an intimate gathering of a dozen friends. At times, each room hosts different events. At others, all rooms are open and guests are free to wander.
Is it safe for my teenager to attend a concert at the Crofoot?
Although we do serve alcohol at most of our events, WE NEVER SERVE TO MINORS. Our highly trained security staff takes pride in making sure that all of our patrons are safe and enjoying a great night both inside our building and on their way out. The parking lot across the street is well lit and within sight of the venue. Please feel free to call with any questions, or come tour the venue and meet our staff in person!
Can I have my wedding/birthday party/special event in the Crofoot?

Is smoking allowed at the Crofoot?
Smoking is not allowed indoors. However, we do have a smoking patio.
Can I bring a camera to the Crofoot?
The Crofoot allows cameras without detachable lenses inside the venue. However, there may be a prohibition on cameras and video at artists’ requests. If this is the case, it will be clearly posted at that show. Professional grade cameras (DSLR’s, etc.) require a press pass approved by the artist.
